It just gets right back to what you said in your diary: Even if a clear majority of whites were no danger to blacks, the fact that a distinct number of whites are give blacks plenty of reason to distrust us. Such it is with women and men, too.

We men may not have created male privilege, but we are responsible for becoming aware of it and working to dismantle it.

Things I need to remember:
• Asking for help is not, as it turns out, fatal.
